Directions to all fields from LIE exit 51 or Northern State Pkwy exit 42

 

FROM Long Island Expressway

• Get off Exit 51 (Route 231)
• From West, make a LEFT under the LIE onto Route 231 North. From East, make a RIGHT onto Route 231 North.
• Continue on Route 231 North until you pass under the Northern State Parkway.
• After passing the Northern State, the road forks, keep or bear RIGHT onto Route 66.
• After 1 mile, Route 66 will merge with Jericho Turnpike.
• On Jericho Turnpike, move immediately into the LEFT turning lane and make a LEFT onto Elwood Road. (the first traffic light).

 

FROM Northern State Parkway

• Get off Exit 42N (Route 231). Please note: there is NO merge lane as you merge into Rt. 231.
• From East, make a RIGHT at the light after you exit. You are now on Route 66.
• After 1 mile, Route 66 will merge with Jericho Turnpike.
• On Jericho Turnpike, move immediately into the LEFT turning lane and make a LEFT onto Elwood Road. (the first traffic light).

 

 

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the fourth traffic light.
• Make a RIGHT on Clay Pitts Road.
• The park is 1/2 mile on the RIGHT (also called Clay Pitts Park).

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the second traffic light.
• Make a LEFT on Cuba Hill Road.
• Elwood Park will be on your right.

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the second traffic light.
• Make a LEFT on Cuba Hill Road.
• Make a LEFT at the first traffic light.
• Continue up the hill to the back of the school.

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the second traffic light.
• Make a RIGHT on Burr Road.
• Continue to the next traffic light and make a LEFT on Larkfield Road.
• Make a LEFT onto Harley Avenue, about 1/4 mile up Larkfield.
• The school will be on your right at the end of the road.

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the second traffic light.
• Make a LEFT on Cuba Hill Road.
• At the second traffic light, stay left onto Little Plains Road.
• BOCES is about 1/4 mile past the third traffic light (Manor Road) on your left past the Greenlawn Fire Department.

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the third traffic light.
• Make a LEFT into the school complex.
• The John Glenn High School field is behind the tennis courts just past the school on your left.

• Continue North on Elwood Road.
• Make a RIGHT on Pulaski Rd. (County Rd. 11)
• Continue east on Pulaski Rd.
• Make LEFT on Larkfield Rd.
• After the Train tracks, make your first RIGHT on Bellrose Rd.
• Veteran's Park will be on left about a 1/2 mile.

• Continue North on Elwood Road to the second traffic light.
• Make a LEFT on Cuba Hill Road.
• At the second traffic light, stay right onto Cuba Hill Road.
• Continue on Cuba Hill until you reach Pulaski Rd. (There will be baseball fields on the right).
• Make a LEFT on Pulaski.
• Continue on Pulaski until you reach Park Ave - Make a RIGHT.
• Just before the Rail Road tracks, make a LEFT onto E. 5th St.
• Manor Park is about 1/4 mile on the RIGHT.
