Directions To John Glenn High School

478 Elwood Road, Elwood NY  11731

FROM Long Island Expressway
- Get off Exit 51 (Route 231)
- From West, make a LEFT under the LIE onto Route 231 North. From East, make a RIGHT onto
   Route 231 North. 
- Continue on Route 231 North until you pass under the Northern State Parkway.
- After passing the Northern State, the road forks, keep or bear RIGHT onto Route 66.
- After 1 mile, Route 66 will merge with Jericho Turnpike.
- On Jericho Turnpike, move immediately into the LEFT turning lane and make a LEFT onto Elwood
   Road. (the first traffic light - Blockbuster and Shell on your LEFT, about 1/4 mile after the merge).
- Continue North on Elwood Road to the fourth traffic light (about 1 1/2 miles).
- Make a LEFT into the school complex.
- The middle school fields are on your RIGHT (11 v 11 first, 9v9 further up the access road).
- The John Glenn High School field is behind the tennis courts just past the school on your left.

FROM Northern State Parkway
- Get off Exit 42N (Route 231). Please note: there is NO merge lane as you merge into Rt. 231.
- From East, make a RIGHT at the light after you exit. You are now on Route 66.
- After 1 mile, Route 66 will merge with Jericho Turnpike.
- On Jericho Turnpike, move immediately into the LEFT turning lane and make a LEFT onto Elwood
   Road. (the first traffic light - Blockbuster and Shell on your LEFT, about 1/4 mile after the merge).
- Continue North on Elwood Road to the fourth traffic light (about 1 1/2 miles).
- Make a LEFT into the school complex.
